A previous member of the ‘Emerging Leaders’ Program at the University of New Orleans where she received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Danielle Keys is a talented creative with the ability to connect with all audiences. She is a multidisciplinary artist, an advocate for change and entrepreneur. With a background in real estate and property management, Danielle saw first hand the needs of her community. For the last six years she has worked freelance on communications and graphic design projects for small businesses and nonprofits in the Greater New Orleans area; intentionally partnering with businesses that she believes are positive for the collective. What used to be favors for associates led to her continued growth with bigger brands. Thus KEYS was created and founded, a design company that meets the needs of its community. KEYS is her gift to help others.

Danielle is a problem solver, a solutionary and concept-creator. The MO is the opportunity to bring someone else’s vision to life. Danielle has always advocated movement, showing that the journey always starts with you (U). “The Muvement” was born.

Beginning in January 2020, Danielle has worked on different multimedia projects with Angela Rye for the A. Rye brand and for the political advocacy firm IMPACT Strategies, two profound platforms for social justice and political awareness. She served as an intern admin/mentor from August 2020 - March 2022.

In 2021, Danielle was appointed as a Communications Coordinator at the Institute of Women and Ethnic Studies where she designed, edited and assisted with social marketing campaigns within the community. IWES is a small organization with a global impact whose mantra is ‘Healing is the Revolution’. During her time with IWES she completed the following training/certifications: Community Health Worker, Protecting Human Research Participants, and Implicit Bias Modules as recognized by the Kirwin Institute for the Study of Race & Ethnicity.

She has also provided operational support to teachers/educators across the United States enrolled in Relay Graduate School of Education. Relay's programs prepare teachers and leaders to build a more just world where every student has a clear path to a fulfilling life.

In 2022, Danielle was welcomed into the For(bes) the Culture community, a Forbes platform that fosters professional development, social consciousness, civic engagement, intrapreneurship and entrepreneurship through community service projects, social and cultural outings, personal and professional workshops and seminars, mentoring, tutoring and networking.

Danielle is now a civil servant for the State of Louisiana and a Certified project manager for non profits (CNPPM). She serves as the Public Information Officer at Metropolitan Human Services District where they focus on mental health, addiction and developmental/intellectual disabilities.

While at MHSD, she has received the following trainings: ORM Defensive Driving, “Medical” and Recreational Marijuana: How to Talk to Our Patients about Cannabis, and Ruling Out Schizophrenia in People with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

When she is not creating for a cause, you can find her indulging in health and wellness, volunteering in the community, painting, or reading.

Danielle’s paintings are a love letter from her heart. A public display of her innermost thoughts, her true heARTwork. Another channel that engages her audience in a personal way and one that has placed her in exhibitions at the Ogden Museum and Contemporay Arts Center with Abstract NOLA. She has work displayed on St. Charles Ave at the Maroon Workspace, Hotel No 77 on Tchoupitoulas (making its debut on White Linen Night) via Where Y’Art Works and various murals placed around the city.
